How We Work

Survey first. We come out, get into the loft, and have a proper look — insulation type and depth, ventilation, signs of damp or condensation, timber condition, and whether there’s anything unusual about the roof structure that affects the job. This is free and there’s no obligation to book anything afterwards.

Straight quote. You get a written price based on what we actually found, not a generic per-square-metre rate. If removal is needed before new insulation goes in, that’s itemised separately so you can see exactly what you’re paying for.

The work itself. Most standard loft insulation jobs are done in a day. Removal work takes longer, depending on how much foam or old material has to come out and whether we’re waiting on timber to dry out before reinstating. Room-in-roof jobs vary more depending on the layout — we’ll give you a realistic timeframe at quote stage, not an optimistic one.

Aftercare. You get a guarantee document for installation work, or a completion certificate for removal, along with photos of the finished loft space. If anything’s not right once you’ve lived with it for a few weeks, you contact us directly — not a call centre.
